Dan runs the marketing communications for Colt, managing everything from the website and e-mail marketing, to Colt’s corporate identity.
Although he read Law at Swansea University, Dan always had an interest in web design and photography. After graduating, he got a job doing digital marketing for a knitting and sewing website, where he stayed for a year before deciding to move back to the South of England. Dan Started out in 2013 at Colt Group, then transferring to Colt International in 2015. During this time, Dan has gradually taken on more responsibility within his role. Alongside his work, Dan completed a 1-year CIM course funded by Colt; enhancing his integrated communications and digital marketing skills.
“I was attracted to the role because the work is so varied and no two days are the same. Moving to the UK division has really opened up my opportunities to advance. Colt have been very supportive with helping me get better at what I do; I think I have an exciting future ahead of me here.”
Dan has a big passion for cycling, in particular bike-packing, which is a mixture of cycling and camping. This has seen him go on many mini-adventures, including a self-supported ride around the north coast of Scotland.
