Colt has been awarded the RoSPA President’s Award for Occupational Health and Safety 2018. Receiving it’s 14th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award means that the company only needs one more consecutive year to achieve the coveted Order of Distinction (15 consecutive Gold Awards).
Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. Awards are given to the best entries in 24 industry sectors with almost 2,000 yearly entrants. The awards are now in its 62nd year.
Colt is especially proud of this internationally recognised and highly-respected award, as it demonstrates its commitment to upholding excellent health and safety standards, and continuing to do so as standards have become more stringent and demanding.
Colt was presented the award at during a ceremony at the ExCeL in London in June. Paul Jeffery (HSE Advisor), and Julie Neil (HR Business Partner) were in attendance to accept the award.
