Colt has announced its decision to revert to operating in the Republic of Ireland through a local specialist distributor in order to continue to offer customers a competitive product range and quality service. Fire and Climate Solutions Ltd. has been appointed as Colt distributor, providing ventilation and smoke control solutions, as well as service and maintenance support throughout the territory.
Colt’s flexibility has enabled the company to anticipate and adapt its business model to the extreme fluctuations of the Irish market, ensuring its continued success and stability in this market. In view of the savage reductions witnessed in the construction industry since 2008, Colt’s approach has been to steadily develop a successful service and maintenance service, working directly with owners and occupiers.
The next step in Colt’s strategy is to revert to trading through a local specialist distributor led by Bill Donnelly, whose association with Colt dates back to 1984, when he first joined the company.
The appointment of Fire and Climate Solutions Ltd. as Colt’s specialist distributor as from 1 May 2012 enables the company to ensure customers have access to an even more competitive offering, while continuing to benefit from the expertise Bill Donnelly has developed during his long career with the company.
