Colt International Limited is pleased to announce the recent achievement of the International Environmental Standard ISO14001:2015. This positions Colt UK among the ‘early adopters’, achieving the transition well before the September 2018 deadline.
Our environmental strategy builds on our achievements, which includes the successful implementation of an integrated company management system and subsequent certification. This has led to significant improvements to the way we manage, monitor and report on our environmental impacts and increasing our awareness about sustainable issues.
Our management system allows for the systematic identification of environmental aspects. Our assessment also allows us to identify opportunities to increase the use of recycled materials and reduce the amount of energy and natural resources we use in our products. This year we have set ambitious targets to reduce our energy, packaging and reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.
