Stairwell is a low profile, roof or wall mounted louvred ventilator, designed to provide heat and smoke exhaust ventilation in protected stairwells within residential apartments, hotels, shops and offices. It is principally applied to protect means of escape for occupants and to create a safe means of access for fire fighters. The ventilator can be installed vertically or horizontally in roof openings and can be used as a corridor ventilator.
