Apollo natural flap roof ventilator

The Apollo natural flap ventilator provides both smoke and day-to-day ventilation. It allows extract ventilation for most kinds of industrial buildings and is usually installed on building rooftops. Polycarbonate versions allow the entry of natural daylight. It is manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management standards and conforms to EN 12101-2.

  • From 1000mm throat width to 2500mm throat width in 1mm increments.
  • From 1000mm to 3000mm throat length in 1mm increments.

  • 16 mm clear or opaque polycarbonate, 7 skins, 6 chambers
  • 16 mm grey (non light transmitting) polycarbonate, 7 skins, 6 chambers
  • 10 mm clear or opaque polycarbonate panel, single chamber + 6 mm solid external sheet
  • 20mm double skin insulated aluminium infill panel
  • 32mm clear or opaque polycarbonate, 8-10 chambers, U value of panel 1.1 – 1.3 W/Km²

Rubber seals to reduce air leakage when closed.

Colours/ finishes options

  • Mill finish
  • Polyester powder painted to a RAL colour, standard 75 mu

For both electric and pneumatic versions, either double action locking mechanisms, failsafe open or failsafe closed.

If used as a smoke ventilator, activation is either by local thermal fuse which opens the unit at a pre-selected temperature, or by responding to an external release signal.
